Aloha Friday #73

I haven't traveled much.

Heck, I don't even get out of the house much.

The farthest away from home I've even been is to Jamaica for a mission trip while in college (how I officially met Prince Charming), and St. John, USVI, for our honeymoon (I know! Score!).

Considering I live in Washington State, these two trips were quite far away from home. But, excepting two visits to the East Coast, that's it for me and long-distance traveling.

So, my question for you is this:

What's the farthest away from home that you've ever been?

  5. I travel annually to Hawaii from MA. to visit with ohana (family) and friends. Its about 6000 miles and 6 time zones. The ride over can get long (up to 13 hrs) and I always have jet lag for a couple days after.

  14. I live in the Caribbean so the farthest away from home I've been is the States. I lived in New Orleans for a while and while we were there we drove a full 28 hours to New Jersey. I'm not sure which one is farthest away from home New Orleans or New Jersey.

  20. Good question! I love traveling. I lived in Spain for a semester in college, and then traveled most of Western Europe right after college. Also been to Mexico once. My next adventure will hopefully be to Mongolia where Shawn, my boyfriend, spent his time while in Peace Corps. (fingers crossed)
