I haven't traveled much.
Heck, I don't even get out of the house much.
The farthest away from home I've even been is to Jamaica for a mission trip while in college (how I officially met Prince Charming), and St. John, USVI, for our honeymoon (I know! Score!).
Considering I live in Washington State, these two trips were quite far away from home. But, excepting two visits to the East Coast, that's it for me and long-distance traveling.
So, my question for you is this:
What's the farthest away from home that you've ever been?

Well we honeymooned in Aruba and then went on a 2 week tour of Germany. That's pretty far from home.
ReplyDeleteWe lived in England & Germany. Plus a few years ago we went on a trip to the Bahamas. Lots & lots of fun!
ReplyDeleteSomewhere in the Caribbean... not sure what island is farther?
ReplyDeleteI live in Tennessee and I went to California when I was 3.. other than that I have been to Florida when I was a lot older.
ReplyDeleteI travel annually to Hawaii from MA. to visit with ohana (family) and friends. Its about 6000 miles and 6 time zones. The ride over can get long (up to 13 hrs) and I always have jet lag for a couple days after.
ReplyDeleteParis would be the furthest I've been.
ReplyDeletei don't remember which flight was longer - stockholm or hawaii.
ReplyDeleteBy plane I went to Hawaii when I was in 5th grade. Via car Fredericton, NB for a hockey road trip.
ReplyDeleteThe farthest that I have been is Canada.
ReplyDeleteOverseas - London, Sweeden, and Norway. Beautiful countries!
ReplyDeleteFlorida from Michigan, I would love to go further!
ReplyDeleteI've traveled to Russia - when the USSR was breaking apart. Fun stuff!
ReplyDeletei live in colorado and the furthest away i've been is hawaii (a few times)
ReplyDeleteI live in the Caribbean so the farthest away from home I've been is the States. I lived in New Orleans for a while and while we were there we drove a full 28 hours to New Jersey. I'm not sure which one is farthest away from home New Orleans or New Jersey.
ReplyDeleteBefore kids, my husband and I went to Namibia, Africa for two weeks. It was amazing and I'd love to go back and take my girls.
ReplyDeleteI live in Virginia and have been to Hawaii! Although I was only 6 so I don't remember much. I would love to go there again though
ReplyDeleteI went to the Yucatan Peninsula in Mexico when I was in high school for a mission trip. What an eye-opening experience!
ReplyDeleteWhen I went on a mission trip to Spain
ReplyDeleteI lived and studied in the former USSR.
ReplyDeleteGood question! I love traveling. I lived in Spain for a semester in college, and then traveled most of Western Europe right after college. Also been to Mexico once. My next adventure will hopefully be to Mongolia where Shawn, my boyfriend, spent his time while in Peace Corps. (fingers crossed)
ReplyDeleteProbably to Washington DC. I loved it there and can't wait to take my girls. So much history!
ReplyDeleteBack in 2005 we went to Guatemala. We will be traveling to Ethiopia later this year.
ReplyDeleteAs a kid we went from S. Ontario to California.
ReplyDeleteAruba...and OH how I'd love to go back!
ReplyDeleteI haven't been far from home....I definately need to get out more (Maybe when the kids are grown?)
ReplyDeleteFlorida is the farthest I have been from home.
