Snape and Sensibility

Over the weekend, I finally watched Sense and Sensibility. Considering I love all things Austen, I'm surprised it too me this long to watch it. The movie's been out for almost ten years, for goodness' sake!

While I loved the movie and thought it followed the book very well, I couldn't help singing this song throughout the entire thing:

Every time Colonel Brandon came on the screen I kept singing, to myself and out loud (much to the consternation of Prince Charming, who actually watched the movie with me), "Snape, Snape, Severus Snape."

Professor Snape in a Jane Austen. Who knew?

  1. I too love Jane Austen but haven't been such a fan of her movies.

  2. Thanks for the great video clip! I sent it on to a friend who's a huge HP fan and internet surfer extrardinaire. She hadn't seen it either... and all evening I was in tune bondage!
